Kids eat free at Hello Harry

This was one of the first places my family ate at when we moved to Birtinya, feeling somewhat defeated by the piles of boxes still left to unpack we decided to make our way down to Hello Harry for some dinner and a play.

Hello Harry Birtinya

Before we head anywhere for dinner we always look at the menu and reviews and go from there. Hello Harry ticked a lot of the boxes we were after – Burgers, craft beer, playground (in the restaurant and just meters away in the shopping center between Hello Harry & Aldi). So we thought sounds good, Let’s do it!

So off we went on a Friday afternoon after a day of unpacking for burgers. Straight away the kids were loving it down there, between the playground in the restaurant and the playground in Stockland (review here), the kids were in ‘play’ heaven.

The food was delightful, we decided on the “Fat Bastard” & “USA” burgers (yes we were hungry – ha!) and we got the kids a Chicken and Beef burger. Also a side of sweet potato fries.

Well it’s fair to say everything was demolished. The burgers were a hit, the kids ate most of it and we enjoyed our burgers also.

The sweet potato fries were nice but I did find the portion to be on the smaller side, so if you have more hungry mouths to feed definitely order two or more.

“Kids eat free” every Monday after 5 pm

I happened to be walking past a few weeks later and I saw the sign out the front of the restaurant about kids eating free on Mondays. Bloody excellent, I can add that to my article.

It’s a shame, looking through their Facebook and Instagram I can’t see anything recently about this promotion.

Well now you know, you’re welcome!

Playground in the restaurant

As I mentioned, you have a choice of two playgrounds. We sat outside as the kids played at the Stockland playground and we had a better vantage point from there. However, the fenced playground in the restaurant was great and the kids enjoyed that as well. The inside playground is fantastic, especially for smaller children. Take your pick, and hope it keeps the kids busy enough to enjoy your burger.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t take photos of the playground on the day as it was very messy and kids were playing there but from what I could see there was a little cubby called Harry’s shack, play kitchen, trolley, and other smaller toys. Most importantly it was fenced, for that added layer of comfort for the parents of runners.

Free Burger on your Birthday

The last thing I would like to mention is if you join “Club HH- The Burger Club” you can get a Free burger on your birthday. T&C’s apply but a worthwhile option if you like free food!

Summary

If you are keen on burgers or desserts, beers or cocktails, beef or vegetarian then Hello Harry has it all.

With a fenced playground inside, another playground just meters away in the shopping center this restaurant ticks a lot of boxes for parents and kids alike.
