What a fantastic park in one of the newest suburbs on the Sunshine Coast. This playground has plenty of height and is fantastic for kids who want to climb, climb, climb. Or perhaps you have a speedster on a bike who wants to try out the bumpy road with real-life traffic signs.
Bike Track with Traffic signs
This has got to be one of the best bike tracks for avid riders on the Sunshine Coast. The track is a complete circuit and goes the whole way around the playground. It has a tunnel & bridge, as well as a lot of little hills and bumps to help with understanding speed, braking, acceleration, deceleration.
The real highlight is the real life-like traffic lights and signs. Kids just love feeling grown up and my kids loved feeling like that were driving just like Mum & Dad.
Super Slides
For some older children (4+) they can try climbing the massive tower in the center of the playground, to get to the top you need to climb up a mixture of ropes and matting. There is a slide halfway up and the mega slide right up the top (not for the faint-hearted). This area is for more experienced climbers and can be quite challenging as the height between some ropes and the platforms for the next level are quite big.
Ground Level
Back on ground level there is plenty for little ones to do while big brother or sister play, there are swings, see-saws, rock climbing wall and rope course and wide metal slide.
Another great feature of this park is the Basketball court, a nice way for a few friends to get together and exercise (for the kids and adults).
There are also BBQ facilities and areas to sit, as well as accessible toilets and a water bubbler.
